A new day means new news from Ukraine. Amidst the swamp of details about Russia’s latest war crimes, an inkling of hope always remains. We get to hear stories of strangers banding together and miracles happening. I’m blown away by how caring and giving the refugee families are. They have every reason to hate the world and be angry at everyone, yet they invite my team and I into their homes, bake with us and feed us, and still find joy in the smallest things, like going to the park. As cliché as it sounds, it’s a beautiful confirmation that when we choose love over bitterness, darkness can’t win.

I want to ask all of you to set aside some time for Ukraine today. Watch this video from Dana, pray over the war and everyone affected by it, take a look at the work Hope Church is doing, donate to the cause.
