Hello from Atlanta, Georgia!
I’m currently sitting in the airport, waiting for the World Race shuttle to take me away to our launch training and I couldn’t be more excited! It still hasn’t quite hit me yet that I’ll be gone for a whole eleven months… that’s insane! We head to Costa Rica on August 11, but before that we’ll get lots of training.
Thank you to all of you who have been praying with me these past several weeks! I definitely need your prayers now more than ever, so thanks for joining me this week.
1. Training. Please be praying over these next few days as we stuff our brains with all we need to know. I want to make sure that I retain all the information and put it to good use in the future.
2. The Squash Sisters! Now that you know all about my amazing team, please keep them in your prayers as we start this adventure together. We’re all feeling a lot right now and this is such a big moment in our lives.
3. Team Leader Role. We all received different roles to serve as on our teams and I was given the role of Team Leader. I’m feeling a little intimidated by this and I want to make sure that I serve my team as best as I can. Please be praying that I step into this role and embrace it.

Dear God, Please be with the amazing Squash Sisters as they embark on this journey. Help Janine remember that each role was intended to be accomplished with YOU as their partner, and that the responsibility doesn’t rest solely on their shoulders. Help them all remember that your yoke is easy and your burden is light, so if that’s not how they’re feeling, then they would be blessed by giving up something that’s holding them back. Help them to bond with one another. Give them the courage to give feedback to one another, and remember that most of the time feedback means compliments and encouragement to keep doing the awesome things they are doing. In Jesus’ name amen.
